The failure of John carter is now officially complete. The new cop - buddy - comedy 21 Jump Street took the #1 spot, with The Lorax holding on to a strong #2. JOHN CARTER continued it's downward spiral with just over $13 mill for the #3 position. No doubt, it will go down as one of 2012's biggest box office busts and blunders despite being a good sci-fi flick. Heads have already started rolling at Disney over this fiasco.
