Five Knives release video for 'The Rising" and launch Flyaway

Nashville electro/alt group Five Knives premiered a video for the song "The Rising" yesterday exclusively on www.altpress.com. The video was directed by the winners of the L.A. Music Video Festival contest and can be seen here. "The Rising" is featured on the band's current EP by the same name, which is available on iTunes and for free on www.fiveknivesmusic.com. The band will be releasing their debut full-length via Red Bull Records later this year.

In other related news, the band has launched a Warped Tour Flyaway via Alt Press. One lucky winner will win a 3 day/2 night trip for two to Houston, Texas for the last day of Warped Tour. After the show the winner will also walk home with the band's gear. Enter here for a chance to win.

The band also recently launched a Warped t-shirt design contest on Talenthouse (www.talenthouse.com). The Grand Prize Winner will have their Five Knives shirt design featured and sold at select Warped dates, as well as a pair of tickets to the fest, a one-year subscription to Alt Press, and a $2,000 cash prize. Two runners-up will also receive ticket's to Warped as well as a $500 cash prize. Fans can enter the contest here (all entries must be submitted by June 20th).
