Review Tuesday: Judge Dredd The Complete Case Files 02 [Kindle Edition]

You may or may not realize that Judge Dredd has been around since the late 1970's so there's been a  lot of material in 2000 AD to compile. Judge Dredd The Complete Case Files 02 is the second volume with many more to follow.
In a post-apocalyptic world, the US is reduced to two Mega-Cities containing nearly 500 million citizens each on either coast. To speed up the legal process a policing force of JUDGES enforce the law. One Judge will, on the spot, be Judge, Jury, and if it fits the crime, Executioner. We get to follow the adventures one of the most feared and by-the-book Judges, Joseph Dredd, as he does his job upholding the law.
This volume features the very first Dredd epic The Cursed Earth, written by comic legends Pat Mills (Slaine) and John Wagner (A History of Violence) and featuring the art of Mike McMahon (ABC Warriors) and Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke). As well as The Day the Law Died. You get to see the final evolution of the LOOK of the LAW. The bulky pads were finally in place. The helmet had its distinctive shape. Dredd was never seen smiling ever again. The stone-faced, by-the-book lawman had been cut from stone during this period and remained, largely, unchanged ever since. Essential reading for any DREDD fan.

Get it in Kindle format on AMAZON HERE or in paperback.
