2. Guardians of the Galaxy $41.5M

4. The Hundred-Foot Journey $11.1M

Despite all the hubbub about Michael Bay's latest abomination TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, it still had a large opening weekend. Ticket sales were strong enough that the studio already green-lighted a sequel and a release date in two years.
