Rapper Won-G released his new single "I Can't Sleep" from his forthcoming EP Won-G Is Wondgy today via iTunes and digital retailers. Born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn, Won-G is one of 2015's most exciting artists to watch. One of hip-hop's original multi-hyphenates, Won-G is a rapper, entrepreneur and philanthropist who forged his own path as an independent artist in the music industry and helped pave the way for independent artists to distribute and market music on their own terms.
"This track is dedicated to the DJs who bring the club to life night after night," Won-G explains. "It also goes out to the rest of us who can't stay home and go to sleep, we always want to go out and have a good time."
"I Can't Sleep" is the first of several key releases Won-G has lined up heading into 2015, including collaborations with hip-hop's biggest artists. In addition to his music projects, Won-G's entertainment, fashion and branding powerhouse Real Sovage will host a special concert launch event at its flagship Sovage store this November at Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica, Calif. More details on the concert launch event will be announced soon.
