Review Tuesday: TROLL 2 [1990]

I went to a Troll 2 birthday party weeks ago. I had no idea what I was getting into!

A family is lured into a town inhabited by man-eating goblins.

From the very beginning you can tell that this movie is in trouble. An old man is telling his grandson a story about the evil GOBLINS! I had to check the DVD box to be sure I was watching the right movie. But yeah, Troll 2 is about GOBLINS. There's not a troll to be found anywhere near this movie.

As you can imagine it's all downhill from there. Almost the entire cast is terrible. The special effects are awful. The goblins are just little people wearing burlap bags and awful latex masks.

About the only genuinely good aspect of this movie would be Deborah Reed who plays the Queen of the Goblins, Creedence Leonore Gielgud. While everyone in this movie cannot act, she OVERACTS to the point that she's fabulous! She's also really good looking.

Bad acting. Bad story. Bad effects. It's a train wreck. If you want to watch a genuinely awful movie, you've hit the jackpot with this one!
