CROUCH END
by Stephen King
"Crouch End" is a horror story by Stephen King, set in the real-life North London district of Crouch End, originally published in New Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos, and republished in a slightly different version in King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes collection. Wikipedia
A friend who knows I am a fan of the Cthulhu Mythos suggested I read this short story. Originally published in 1980 in the collection called NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES, Stephen King gave us CROUCH END.
An American couple get lost in a suburb of London and end up in a Lovecraftian nightmare. So imagine blending blending the HPL influenced horror with the easier to read style of King and you have a fast moving and compelling short story.
Well written and something fun to read for a fan or either and especially of both.
