In this final installment about the Abaddon Hotel, the curse comes full circle. 

I'm not going to lie. A large part of my fascination with this series is the fact that we have actually visitied the hotel in these movies. It's not in Upstate New York, but in Leheighton, PA and is a fun haunted attraction known as the Waldorf Estate of Fear. (Previous reviews are all HERE) 

This movie closes up the re-opening of the Abaddon Hotel story-line. While, to me, the original movie was an excellent stand-alone movie, the subsequent sequels work closely together. If you had a bunch of questions in your mind after the second movie, such as, Who is Russel Wynn and what is this Wynn Median Group, and what is Insomnia and how are they attached to Hell House? These are all answered in LAKE OF FIRE.

Entertainment mogul Russell Wynn moved his interactive play show INSOMNIA to the Abaddon Hotel. The movie builds suspense, and purposely leads you to jump to certain conclusions. I won't go any further into the plot, but the ending is a big surprise and you MUST watch through the end credits.   

On its own this movie might not make a whole lot of sense. I would recommend watching them in order, then re-watch them in order and all the pieces fall into place nicely. Well worth your time if you enjoy the genre of found footage horror films.
