INVINCIBLE
Season 1
When the son of the mightiest superhero on Earth develops his own super-powers, he learns that with great power comes great responsibility.
This animated series on Amazon is based on a series from Image Comics. Superhero properties usually have the same moral of the story, With great power comes great responsibility. What makes it interesting is the journey getting there. Mark Grayson is a high school kid who also happens to be the son of Nolan, better known as Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on Earth. The story really takes direction when Mark discovers his powers. That's when everything goes berserk.

Season 1 is the story arc of Mark who assumes the identity of INVINCIBLE as a superhero and his new life. And, of course, with great power comes great responsibility. Invincible has friends, family, and school to deal with while trying to keep the city and the world safe from crime and invaders. Of course, there's plenty of other stuff going on, like multiple love stories, crime in the city, family, and treachery.

I really only tried watching this because of the memes that were popping up. I was curious what the source was like. I was pleasantly surprised. This was NOT a kids cartoon. There's sexual situations, graphic violence and gore. I can't remember the last time I saw animation with that much blood, teeth, and intestines on the screen. Excellent voice actors. Way better than I expected, plus it's better superhero content then a lot of the trash being put out there.

Watch it on AMAZON.
