A writer tries to stay in a haunted room. 

I am a little late to this one. Last week, while on vacation we stumbled across this movie based on a Stephen King story, so we gave it a view. 

 

Mike Enslin (John Cusack) is an author who writes about haunted places to stay in the USA. When he got a tip to stay at room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel in NYC, his life would be forever changed. 

I must admit, I had low expectation for this one. I mean, staying overnight in a haunted room? Seemed like a thin plot-line to me. But the movie is a nearly two hour descent into Enslin's fears and horrors. 

There's not a lot to say here other than it's pretty impressive and pretty enjoyable
