DARK AGES

A Predator comes to hunt during the age of The Crusades. 

A friend sent me this. It's actually quite old. It's a  short fan-film based on the Predator if it came to Earth to hunt during the Dark Ages. 

 

People were being butchered mysteriously in Europe so the fearful residents collected money to pay The Church for protection. The Church, then, sent a team of brave knights to end the killing. The Church also sends them off with a guide, a Muslim who happened to be the only survivor of a previous attack by this beast. 

This film is less than thirty minutes, but it's very much like the original movie, it just gets right down to the meat and potatoes. They used the original formula, that the Predator picks them off one by one until it's just the leader and the beast going toe-to-toe. 

This is well done to the point that you can see how they could easily expand on THIS film and make something better than what Hollywood has been giving us for a while. If you have been unhappy with the franchise, THIS is a film that will show you what can be done when someone who LOVES the source material has a try at it.
