GARBAGE
Witness To Your Love
EP
On April 22nd while working Alexa informed me that GARBAGE had a new release out. This seemed especially odd since that band doesn't do anything without all sorts of hype, and they had a fairly recent album. They usually space releases every three to five years, which I think might be because that's how long it takes to forget how much they get on each other's nerves, but that's just my theory, as they are always on the verge of breaking up.
Tracklist:
1. Witness to Your Love (rare track from 2008, never before on vinyl)
2. Cities in Dust (previously unreleased Siouxie & The Banshees cover)
3. Blue Betty (previously unreleased track from No Gods, No Masters sessions)
4. Adam and Eve (previously unreleased track from No Gods, No Masters sessions)
It makes a little more sense when you realize this was a special release on vinyl for Record Store Day 2023. They complied a "rare" track, one cover, and two previously unreleased tracks from their last album and gave us. WITNESS TO YOUR LOVE. Keep in mind, bands usually don't pass on putting their GOOD songs on an album. That's what this seems like. A small collection of OKAY songs for a new release for Record Store Day. Chances are that you can't even get it because it seems to be sold out everywhere. Don't worry, you're not missing much.
