The Final Wish
(2018)
After the death of his father a guy finds something among his father's things that will change everything.
One night Mrs Baxojayz was rummaging through movies on AMAZON to watch and stumbled over this one. It intrigued her, so we watched it.
Aaron Hammond (Michael Welch) is a young lawyer who is down on his luck. No job and no money, he's been evicted. At that time his father passed away. It was a good time to go home and help out and try to make sense of things.
While helping his mother Kate (played by Lin Shaye. I have yet seen Lin play a likable role) sort through his fathers possessions, he comes across an artifact. At that point this turns into the monkey's paw. You get to make seven wishes, everything goes wrong, and you lose your soul in the end.
This movie was made pretty well. It looks really good. The problem is that it's just not compelling or even interesting. It's just one of those okay-at-best movie you find on Amazon to waste an hour and a half. It's not bad, but it's not GOOD either.
