The Ghostbusters re-assemble in time to battle an ancient force looking to bring another ice-age. 

Since my BFF were already having a convesation about Ghostbusters, it was only logical to see the 2024 follow to Afterlife -- FROZEN EMPIRE. 

 

So now the family is back in NYC and the Ghostbusters is re-established helping the city deal with paranormal matters. It appears that in the years between, Winston had been not only maintaining the station, but also developing technology. When a ghost tricks Phoebe into deactivating the tech, an ancient evil is set forth on NYC that wants to bring a new ice age. 

Again, this movie is a lot of fun with call-backs to the original movies while NOT making it tiresome in the process. Another fun film worth your time to watch!
