Camp Pine Cone blasts into the indie rock scene with a genre-crossing debut album that is guaranteed to rock your butt.
Fronted by a talented multi-instrumentalist who has played in many bands over the years, ranging from gritty punk to full-on power pop indie, Camp Pine Cone emerges with a unique sound that will please even the most jaded of hipsters.
Growing tired of the difficulties involved in finding like-minded musicians to help him realize his musical ideas, Big Chief Awesome came to the conclusion that he would rather break from the traditional mold and pursue a solo endeavor. The result was the formation of Camp Pine Cone. When asked if he was willing to enlist the help of other musicians, allowing Camp Pine Cone to play live shows, his answer was, “Maybe one day, if it feels right. Now I am focusing on putting out new material and trying to make each song better than the previous one”.
That should be enough for you right there, but if you still aren’t convinced, it is rumored that when Chuck Norris asked Big Chief Awesome if he could play guitar in Camp Pine Cone and was denied, Chuck Norris cried.
