Beating the Cold

On Monday I came down with my first cold of the season. I think I got it last week from a client and it finally set in. This one settled into me strangely. This one was all about aches and pains and swelling. All my joints really hurt, and I felt exhausted. I had mild stuffiness and runny nose.

I keep Robitussin CF in the office for just such a situation, but I felt I needed more this time around.

BUCKLEY'S: The stuff works great, but tastes frikkin awful.

AIRBORNE: I've heard them advertise this stuff for about a year on the Howard Stern Radio Show. I finally decided to give it a whirl. You toss a tablet into water and it bubbles up like Alka Seltzer. You take this tonic every three hours. I started yesterday afternoon. 24 hours later I feel like I've just about beat this cold. I felt like 75% of my normal self this morning, and now I feel like about 90%. I just have minor runny nose and the occasional sneeze. No aches. No pains. No swollen glands. It's like magic. The stuff isn't cheap at $8 per tube, but well worth it. If I caught this cold on Monday when I first had symptoms I wouldn't have been miserable yesterday.

I used take that Cold Ease and load up on vitamin C, but the Airborne did it all. Look no further. Get to the store and try it the next time you have a cold.
