It's been a long bunch of days.
Friday I was up earlier than usual to get to a client in the Bronx. The day ended late with dinner and a movie.
I got up around normal time on Saturday. Got to work outside normal time with my usual Saturday yardwork. I remembered that the neighbor behind us has a cedar tree in dire need of trimming. I climbed up on the roof of the garage and trimmed the tree down. Then I cleaned off the remnants that sat on the roof. Each time it rains my gutters get jammed up from that tree. This is a necessary evil that occurs at least twice a year. When I got back down on the ground I shredded the huge pile of branches into confetti so it fit in only two leaf bags. Well spent, I went in and took a shower. Enough for one day.
Later we went to the inlaws. I decided to take a walk, as the air was cool, and crisp, and the sky was clear. I went wandering about. Next thing I knew I ended up at Kissena Park! I walked back briskly. I killed over an hour on that walk. I don't think I can retrace those steps if I wanted to.
I knocked out that night about 12:30.
I awoke about 10:30 on Sunday. I dashed out and washed my car. It was filthy and I hated seeing it like that. When I was done, I moved on to the next project.
Back to the bathroom. I started framing the window with some gorgeous planks of wood. I wasn't too pleased with the way they assembled it in the first place. Not too happy with the way it wobbled. I braced it. Framed it. And didn't buy enough wood for the job. That'll teach me to take measurements next time. After a lot of cutting, fitting, trimming, etc. the job is about 2/3 done. Needed more wood.
Then I cleaned the turtle tanks. That's a two hour job, minimum.
Then cleaned the whole basement and mopped.
Then finally got to have dinner at 8:00.
By the time I went to bed at 10:30 my body was so exhausted I couldn't sleep. Today at work my eye is twitching. I need rest.
